Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration Primary Educator CPD session

Thursday 1st February, 4-6pm - £17.50 per person

This twilight CPD will be delivered at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, led virtually by Toya Walker a professional illustrator and member of the learning team at Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration.

The session aims to nurture your creative skills with lots of practical activities and opportunities to plan and reflect on how illustration can support learning in your classroom. The focus will be on telling stories but with connections and suggestions made on how to incorporate illustration across the curriculum. Whether you have very little experience in creative subjects, or lots of prior experience, we hope this CPD will give you:

  • a greater understanding of illustration
  • confidence in modelling and teaching accessible and effective art techniques
  • practical inspiration for projects tailored to different areas of the curriculum

This session is being delivered as part of Rugby Art Gallery and Museum REACH Network for Rugby Educators of Art, Culture and History.
