Design the Mayor's Christmas Card

This Christmas, the Mayor of Rugby, Cllr Maggie O’Rourke, is holding a competition to give local children the opportunity to design the Mayor’s Christmas Card.

The competition is open to Primary Age children aged 4-11 and has the theme “Christmas in Rugby Through the Ages” reflecting the mayor’s passion for local heritage, particularly in light of it being the bicentenary year of Rugby Football.

In addition to the winning design being featured on the Mayoral Christmas Card, three young artists will be invited to visit the Mayor's Parlour for a Christmas Picnic and certificate award ceremony.

Plus, shortlisted designs will be on display in Rugby Art Gallery and Museum over the festive period, and cards will be available to purchase in Rugby Visitor Centre with proceeds going to the Mayors’ chosen charity, the Myton Hospice.
